Our desire is to create a worship experience that brings people closer to Jesus and helps them encounter him in life changing ways. We’re expectant for the ways in which God will show up, and for all the ways this space will be used For our community. In addition to worship, we are excited for this space to be used as a youth gathering place, a meeting location for community members, a place for school concerts and plays… a space for conferences, dinners, weddings, and so much more.
Our lobby is so much more than a lobby. It will be a… Welcome Center…Gathering Space…Coffee Shop…Meeting Space…Coworking Space… A place to connect with friends, meet new community members, take a next step on your faith journey, serve alongside others, grab a cup of coffee, and so much more…
Anyone who has been to The Village knows that there is something in our coffee (+Donuts). Or, maybe it’s just that we really like coffee and donuts… We’re excited for our new café and kitchen to serve as a first stop for our future guests, for our neighbors to stop by for a little coffee and free wifi, and for the ability to host dinners, meet ups, and so much more… The possibilities for connecting with our community seem endless.
From our Village Kids lobby to our nursery rooms, pre-k and elementary rooms, and every space in between, our mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and FUN place for our kiddos. Help us create a space where kids, families, and neighbors want to be throughout the week, and especially on Sunday mornings.
This space will be a comfortable spot for moms to feed and rock their little ones during worship or other meetings throughout the week.
We can’t wait for neighbors and friends to drop by to let their kids play while they grab a cup of coffee and chat with other parents — or just take a breath. We’re excited for our playground to be a favorite spot for kids throughout our community.
From our front porch to the backyard and everywhere in between, our youth will get to use our new building to connect with each other and grow in their faith. Items on this list will make their experience the best it can be.
Having worked remotely from the very beginning, Village staff members are excited to have an office to call our very own — a place to meet, plan, dream and create! Don’t worry, you will still see us out and about in coffee shops and local businesses. Being with and among the community is part of our collective DNA, and of course, you can always stop by for some coffee at our place!
Our Community Room will be a place where staff members can meet, plan and dream for what’s next at The Village. It will also be a place for Village People, community members, and businesses to meet, plan and dream for all the ways they will make a difference in our community.
We’re excited to let our neighbors know that we are here and ready to connect with them! One of the ways we will do that is through our sign strategy. We’ve been given a generous grant to design a sign for the corner of Nolensville Road and Old Burkitt, and we are excited to build on that foundation with a sign at our driveway and front entrance that helps guide our guests directly to our front door.
We want to create a safe and secure building for our staff and neighbors throughout the week. These items will help us do just that!
